Hello – I got this website link from the Rachel Ray comment section from her recent episode on cellulite (aired 3/18). I was wondering what products/solutions they tried and worked?
Hi, Anon. Welcome to the Cellulite Investigation! I have a full review coming of the Rachael Ray episode on Friday, but here’s a quick answer to your question. The seaweed wrap from Totally You seemed to get the best results from the product tester, although she thought she would have to keep using it to see real results.
All three ladies seemed happy with their product and said they would keep using them (even if they saw “minimal” or “absolutely no” results) which raises some suspicions in my mind. I’ve got lots more to say about that, so please check back Friday to get the full scoop (or you can have the post delivered to your inbox by entering your email address in the box to the right.). Thanks for your question!
Cellulite is so hard to get rid of because it is scar tissue that holds fat cells in place. Diet, exercise and creams etc can’t break down this scar tissue. But if somehow it is broken down fat cells are free and our fat is no longer hard and bumpy instead is smooth and appears as normal fat. I don’t know how to do this but I’m sure it can be done!
Thanks for your anonymous contribution to our tipline! I think you’re on the right track. During our latest Love Your Lymph month, Dr. Bruno Chikly explained more about the anatomy of cellulite as scar tissue in this post:
What is the Difference Between Fat and Cellulite?
I also agree that this scar tissue can be broken down. We’ve heard from women who have experienced just that. Take this Cellulite Story for example:
Cellulite Stories, Declassified (Codename: Vegan Sunset)
“Diet” won’t do the trick, not in the conventional sense of the word (as in, low-fat calorie restriction). But I do think a nutrient-dense diet, including a lot of healthy saturated fats, is the key to the real cure for cellulite. You can read more about our investigation into the elusive anti-cellulite diet here:

Sounds like you’re a perfect fit for our investigation. Hope to see you around again!
Hi,
I am one of the owners of Procellix Cellulite Cream. I wanted to take the time to respond to your write up on Procellix. I can understand your skepticism with so many different products on the market. We originally sold the product here in Canada on Vancouver Island we great success. We then decided to offer it over the internet and other print ads. The product works fantastic. If there is anyway we could get you to give us a more positive review, we would be grateful. We would also really appreciate any feedback you may have that may make our product more attractive to your loyal followers.
Sincerely,
Peter
Hi, Peter. Thanks for your comment. Here at the Cellulite Investigation, we welcome interaction with the anti-cellulite industry. I know many cellulite cream manufacturers are trying their best to offer products that will genuinely help women with this frustrating problem.
My main concern with Procellix is the ingredient, Aminophylline. I feel like your website did not adequately address the safety aspect of using a product designed for asthma as a topical treatment for cellulite. Just because a product is topical, doesn’t mean it’s safe since much of what is applied to the skin is absorbed into the bloodstream.
Some of the clinical studies I found on the topical use of Aminophylline raised questions for me about it’s long term use. If you have further information regarding Aminophylline (where it comes from, studies on it’s topical use, especially long term, etc) please let me know.
Thanks again for stopping by,
Melissa
has anyone heard of Dr. Giunta’s treatment, subcision or Rejuvederm? he is in Alexandria, Va.
When I first looked up Dr. Giunta’s website, I thought you were pulling a prank on me. When you search his name on google, the first hit reads: “Dr. Giunta specializes in Phalloplasty (Penis Enlargement Surgery …)” But then I found his site for the Rejuve Skin treatment and I knew you were serious about your question. I will reply in an upcoming post. Be sure to check back as I’ll post it within the next week. Thanks for your question!
