Highlights from Recent Comments on The Cellulite Investigation Blog

14 Jun

Helpful comments and intriguing tips continue to roll in through various avenues here at The Cellulite Investigation.

Sometimes I wonder how easy it is for my fellow cellulite investigators to keep up with the information flow, since you don’t have access to the same admin features I have on the site.

So here are a few highlights from recent comments, emails, and forum threads.  I hope you find them useful!

The Best YouTube Video for Dry Brushing

Stephanie scoured YouTube for the best instructional video on dry skin brushing, and this is what she came up with.  Someone emailed me this one before, but I didn’t get around to posting it for a wider audience yet.

Another Resource for Learning about Menstrual Cups

As a general rule, I don’t allow comments from marketers on the site.  I want this to be a place for women to come to discuss cellulite without being bombarded by the anti cellulite industry.  But every once and a while, a marketer comes along and leaves a comment that is worth sharing with you.

That’s how I learned about http://menstrualcup.co.  It’s a nifty little site that provides a wealth of information about menstrual cups as an alternative to pads and tampons.  It doesn’t have the community feel of the livejournal site (with all the reviews and forum discussion, etc.), but I love how one woman was so delighted with her new-found freedom from traditional feminine products that she created a website to help spread the world about them.

Be sure to check out her blog, too.  She writes some fun posts (C-String.. Anyone?).

Comment from Earthing Author, Martin Zucker

It’s always fun when the author of a book I read drops by the site.  Martin Zucker, co-author of Earthing, left a comment on my recent post entitled Earthing: The Mother of All Anti Oxidants?.

He supported the idea that the rash I developed on my right arm several hours after I started using my earthing mat was likely a detox reaction.  You can read his full comment here.

My New “Big Bertha” Massage Cup

After several people asked me about the less expensive cups available from other online retailers, I finally ordered one from Ebay.  I chose one that’s twice the size of my Bellabaci cups.

You can read my initial thoughts on my new “Big Bertha” cup in the cupping discussion thread on the CI forum.

Come say hello!

I’m still figuring out how to set up our forum, but feel free to come over and say hi while I’m working on it.  It’s always nice to hear from my fellow cellulite investigators!
