With decades of experience working at women’s magazines, Cherry and Linda are wizards at concealing a dimpled thigh. They’ve heard (and tested) every trick out there.

So even though we had our disagreements concerning their take on cellulite, I think Cellulite Solutions adds value to our investigation in a different way. After all, every cellulite sufferer needs a few time-tested techniques for taking the emPHASis off the wrong syllABle, so to speak.

After combing through all fifty plus chapters of Cellulite Solutions, your trusty cellulite analyst came up with 32 tips Cherry and Linda recommend for concealing the dreaded blight. So without further ado, here they are in no particular order.

1. Stick to summer cottons or light linens that won’t hug your curves.

2. Wear body-contouring stockings (they recommend doing so without underwear!)

3. Use bronzer.

4. Employ soft-lighting in the beaudoir.

5. Wear wide leg pants.

6. Wear clothes that are one size up instead of one size down.

7. Avoid cropped jackets.

8. The most flattering beach towel pose: leaning back on elbows with legs stretched in front.

9. Experiment with a boot-cut.

10. Use a cellulite cream just prior to hitting the beach.

11. Have your clothes tailored to ensure a perfect fit.

12. Invest in a thick belt.

13. Don’t wear said belt too tight.

14. When it comes to bikinis, skirt bottoms are a good option.

15. Seek out textured fabrics.

16. String bikinis are more flattering because they’re adjustable.

17. Avoid lycra.

18. Reinforced thongs are a godsend. [Analyst’s note: Does anyone know what a reinforced thong is?}

19. Splurge on a fabulous corset.

20. Low-rise pants are big-booty friendly.

21. Take the time to find a bikini that “rebalances” your body.

22. Floaty tops cover a multitude of sins.

23. Acc. Ess. Or. Ize.  Beach bags. Jewelry. Wraps. You name it.

24. Don’t squash your legs when sitting on a barstool.

25. Stick to floaty fabrics like chiffon.

26. Beware straight leg pants.

27. Tankinis are our friend.

28. Experiment with self-tanners.

29. When bikini-shopping, stick to prints smaller than your fist.

30. Distract ‘em with the girls.

31. Wear side-fastening pants.

32. Avoid visible panty lines at all costs!

So what do you think –did you find any gems in that list? What are your best tips for concealing those dimpled curves? C’mon. Spill it.

"Distract them with the girls."

Priceless. :D

I do think it's important to find clothes in a style that becomes *you* – not the model or actress on TV, but you individually. I am just now learning to do this, to flatter my own personal shape rather than try and mimic people who look nothing like me!

Great point, Elizabeth. I think this is the key to expressing true beauty. You have to start by looking in, not looking out. And we're not just talking about inner beauty here, but good ol' fashioned aesthetic appeal!

18. Reinforced thongs are a godsend. [Analyst's note: Does anyone know what a reinforced thong is?}

This is a thong that has a stiffer front/crotch area to prevent camel toe. They also sell this little gadget that you can use on all panties that look a little like a shoe insert that will work the same way. I have never tired them as they look very uncomfortable.

Rosy, that is hilarious. I just found the Cuchini website. I love that you can send one anonymously to someone you think needs one. Subtle!
