Five Questions for Crafting Your Cellulite Story

Posted by Melissa @ Cellulite Investigation Tuesday, January 5, 2010

Cellulite is a personal issue. It's embarrassing.  We don't like to talk about it.  But I am convinced there is important information to be gathered in our individual Cellulite Stories. So if you can summon the courage, here is how you can go undercover as a Source for the Cellulite Investigation.

The following five questions are designed to elicit your Cellulite Story. To participate as a Source in the investigation, please email your responses to Analyst (at) CelluliteInvestigation (dot) com. Your answers don't have to be long --a short paragraph or even bullet points would work.  Your Cellulite Story will be featured in an upcoming post here at CI. (Let me know if you want me to link back to your blog or website in the post).

Cellulite Stories, Declassified

1. When did you first notice your cellulite and how would you describe it? i.e. is it painful, firm and knotty, soft and wavey, etc. Please be specific. This post might help you identify what stage of cellulite you're experiencing.

2. How has your cellulite fluctuated over the years? Was it influenced by weight gain, weight loss, pregnancy, menopause, certain exercises, major dietary changes, etc.  Again, please be specific.

3. What do you suspect is your kryptonite? You know, the substance that, if you had to guess, you would identify as most responsible for clogging up your lymphatic system. Mine would be fluoride. Yours might be cigarettes, or coffee, or fast food, or veganic amounts of soy...

4. What has been your experience with cellulite treatments? Which ones have you tried, how did they work for you, any side effects (either positive or negative), was it worth the cost of treatment, etc.

5. What cellulite treatments are you planning to try next? Are you drawn to taking an exercise approach? Are you making major changes in your diet? Did you take out a second loan on your house for a lipo downpayment? Are you planning to take up dry brushing as soon as your bathroom warms up?

Thanks for participating in the Cellulite Investigation.  May your bravery and service be amply rewarded with a happy ending to your Cellulite Story!
