Cellulite is a gift. I know it might not feel like a gift, unless it’s like a present you got from your great aunt Ruth you’re then forced to induct into your permanent wardrobe (no matter how over-sized it is or how lumpy it makes you look). Cellulite is a gift we want to get rid of, I won’t deny that, but it doesn’t negate my opinion of cellulite as a blessing.
Bronwyn Hewitt, the resident cellulite guru here at CI, once told me we are lucky to have cellulite. This was the first time I ever heard the words lucky and cellulite uttered in the same sentence. According to Bron, we’re lucky to have cellulite because it shows us there’s a problem in the body. If not for our cellulite, we might not be aware of lymphatic congestion until more serious problems develop.
So as you’re unwrapping your shiny new presents this holiday season, why not take a moment to appreciate the gift of cellulite? Now if only there was a way to re-gift it… (preferably to MEN!).
