Cellulite experts aren’t hard to come by. They seem to pop up on command with every camera shot of a celebrity dimple, every press release for the latest anti-cellulite miracle, every onslaught of swimsuit season. Their names are followed by lengthy acronyms –their explanations filled with minute details of the epidermal layers.
Usually, they are selling something. Something expensive. A brand of supplements. A medical treatment. Intravenous drugs.
That’s why it was so refreshing to stumble upon Bronwyn Hewitt’s website, CelluliteFreeMe.com. After exhausting the cellulite section at the bookstore, I still didn’t find an approach that resonated with my understanding of health and the body. So I turned off the beaten path and delved into books that were only available online.
I could see why Nicole Ronsard’s books were such a sensation. Even decades after their initial publication, her explanation of cellulite was fresh and informative. And yet, perhaps because her books were written so long ago, I was hesitant to follow her treatment advice. I still felt like I was on my own in my cellulite battle. That’s when I found Bron.
Bronwyn Hewitt is an Australian nutritionist, aromatherapist, and massage therapist who has been quietly treating cellulite with great success, one thigh at a time, for the past twenty years. After waging her own battle with the dreaded “C” in her twenties, she found the condition was actually quite easy to treat. Eager to share her newfound knowledge, she put an ad in the local paper –“I can fix your cellulite,” it read. Women responded, and that’s how she got her start in the cellulite business.
Today, Bron gets most of her clients through word-of-mouth referral. She has even treated the daughters of some of the women who came to her in those early years. That’s when she started to feel guilty. She was making a comfortable living. She was having fun watching her clients’ amazement as their cellulite would “start to move.” But what about all the women who are hopelessly funding the multi-billion dollar cellulite industry? What about all those women who still thought cellulite was a fact of life?
Bronwyn took to the Internet, writing e-zine articles, updating Bron’s Bum Blog, and twittering away –encouraging women that healing their cellulite is indeed possible. She condensed her decades of experience treating cellulite into a downloadable e-book, promising results in four weeks and a money-back guarantee. Despite her full schedule, she offers all her readers personalized ongoing support over email to aid in their recovery.
Anyone who’s dealt with Bron cannot doubt her dedication to helping women from all over the world overcome this lumpy burden. And she is generously offering her expertise to CI readers free of charge! Your trusty CI blogger will be posting weekly “Ask the Guru” reports, so bring on your toughest cellulite questions. I know you have them.

Are gym exercises such as squats helpful in getting rid of cellulite, or am I wasting my time?
That was one of the first questions I had for Bron, too! I'll write more about her answer in an upcoming post, but the short answer is yes, she does recommend weight/resistance training to help with cellulite, mostly because it helps with circulation.
Thanks for your question, Cameron!
