[This giveaway is now closed.  Check back soon for the next CI prize event.  Thanks to all who participated!]

Now that The Cellulite Investigation is finally live and online, it’s time to get to work tackling that insidious cellulite.  One lucky CI reader will win the gift that sparked this whole investigation!

To jump start our anti-cellulite efforts, ANALYST is giving away a free dry brushing starter kit!  The kit features a Purest Palm Body Brush from Earth Therapeutics.  This natural bristle brush is made from the fibers of the Japanese palm plant and it’s ideal for dry brushing.

It’s good practice to follow an invigorating dry brushing session with a few minutes of lymphatic massage.  The dry brushing starter kit also includes a bottle of natural Sweet Almond Oil from Aura Cacia.  Most skincare oils are put through bleaching, deodorizing, and other harsh processes that strip away many of their health benefits.  Aura Cacia’s Sweet Almond Oil is minimally refined to retain its full array of skin-nourishing lipids and fatty acids. It’s light and smooth and it quickly absorbs into the skin.

ANALYST will also throw in a bottle of Aura Cacia’s 100% Pure Essential Sweet Orange Oil.  Citrus oils are widely recognized for their ability to stimulate the lymphatic system.  This tiny bottle will last awhile because it is highly concentrated. PLEASE DO NOT PUT THIS OIL DIRECTLY ON YOUR SKIN! Essential oils are best absorbed when added to a carrier oil; the almond oil is perfect for this purpose.  Directions for mixing your own sweet orange massage oil will be included in the kit, along with a convenient dry brushing instruction guide.

To enter the giveaway, simply leave a comment on any post in the CI blog anytime over the next week. The winner will be chosen at random (from random.org) based on a chronological list of all received comments.

In a shameless attempt to build her reader base, ANALYST is offering extra prize entries for the following actions:

  • 5 extra entries for registering to follow The Cellulite Investigation on Twitter.
  • 10 extra entries for becoming a fan of CI’s Facebook Page.
  • 20 extra entries for anyone who can find the words “high fructose corn syrup” on an official Heinz web page!!  Post the link in a comment anywhere on the CI site. (Just curious if they ever actually list their ingredients!)

The winner will be announced next weekend and will have one week to send ANALYST her mailing address to claim the giveaway prize –domestic U.S. mailing addresses only (sorry for any inconvenience).  Please send questions or concerns about the giveaway (or life in general!) to:

Oooo…that sounds like fun. I didn't have much time to look, but so far finding "high fructose corn syrup" on the official Heinz website is proving to be a challenge.

You'd think it would be on there somewhere since its the #2 ingredient in their #1 product. But all I can find is that Heinz Ketchup is "grown, not made" from tomatoes that are "firm, thick, rich, very colorful, and flavorful." If that is the case, why the need for all that high fructose corn syrup?

Hi, Kimi! I'm glad the skin brush kit is a tempting prize. You're chances are pretty good right now :) I'll post the winner this weekend so be sure to check back then (Haven't figured out how to embed the email address line in my comment form yet… that would be useful).

Good luck and thanks for stopping by!

Sincerely,

Wow! They really do fess up to all that corn syrup. But I do have to note that high fructose corn syrup is not the second ingredient in Heinz ketchup, as I previously thought. It's now the third ingredient and plain old corn syrup is the fourth (vinegar, distilled from corn, no doubt, is the second ingredient).

Thanks, Gina! I'm glad you like the site. You're 21 entries are duly noted!
