I was not able to heal my skin completely, though, until I moved out. I suspect fluoride is one of those chemicals that can be absorbed through the skin and circulated to other areas of the body. I did notice an improvement when I installed a shower filter even though they are not designed for fluoride removal. Again, it didn't clear up the condition completely for me --although I've heard from other people through my blog who said it was enough to clear their skin. We recently stayed at a hotel for a few nights in a town with a very high chloramine level and after 2 days there his face blew up with 6-8 inflamed pustules around his mouth/chin.
